Dave Hubbard

In 2008, David Hubbard left a partnership with other Riverside County Eminent Domain Lawyers to open Hubbard Law Firm. Hubbard sought the flexibility to fashion his eminent domain practice to meet his values, including having the flexibility to address each client in an individual manner. Each case is different because each property and business is different, and the client, judge and opposing counsel each present variables that need to be taken into account.

David Hubbard has resolved many eminent domain cases in the Riverside County and surrounding southern California region. Dozens of these resolutions were through trials, though the goal is much simpler: To get the best result for the client, whenever and however that opportunity arises. David often reminds clients that “it is your case, your decision,” though most clients defer to Mr. Hubbard’s judgment.

A few years ago, after consecutive Eminent Domain trial victories before the Presiding Judge of Riverside County, Mr. Hubbard was invited by that Presiding Judge to be an original member of Riverside County’s Bench/Bar Committee – a small group of trial lawyers and judges joined in the effort to make the Court process better for clients, juries, judges and lawyers.

As Mr. Hubbard’s successes mounted, his reputation has expanded. Now, when public projects arise in neighboring counties, and clients in San Bernardino County or Orange County are looking for an eminent domain attorney, they often find their way to Mr. Hubbard as a result of referrals from attorneys and former clients throughout southern California who know of David’s accomplishments.

Mr. Hubbard graduated Summit High School in NJ, Amherst College in Massachusetts and University of Iowa College of Law. He has participated at highly competitive levels in many sports, with especially high achievement in tennis and ice hockey. In recent years, Dave has been pleased to team with his octogenarian father to win several tennis tournaments in Florida in which their team was decades older than the next oldest team. His greater focus these days, though, has been passing on his love for sports and the outdoors to his children.
